WhatsApp catalogue & order capture
Answer the catalogue. Capture the order.
Modus is trained on your product list, pricing and delivery terms — it answers "is this in stock", "what does it cost to Chennai", "do you have it in blue" from your own material, captures the order in the conversation, and records the sale so it traces back to the ad that produced the buyer.
- Product, price and delivery questions answered from your catalogue
- Orders captured in the conversation, with the details recorded
- Every recorded sale traced to the ad and campaign behind it
Today
What it looks like right now.
The same "how much", "in stock?", "delivery to my city?" questions are answered by hand all day.
A customer ready to buy at 10pm waits until morning and orders from someone else.
Orders agreed in chat are copied into a notebook or a spreadsheet, and some never make it.
There is no line from an order back to the ad or campaign that brought the customer.
The agent
What it does on every enquiry.
Trained on your catalogue
Product names, variants, prices, stock notes and delivery terms — the agent answers from your list, and flags what it could not answer for you to fill in.
Handles a large range
For big catalogues the agent retrieves the relevant products for each question instead of dumping the whole list.
Order capture
When the customer commits, the item, quantity and amount are captured against the contact and moved through the order lifecycle.
Sale recorded once, correctly
Every order goes through one write path that sets the amount, updates the contact's value and pipeline stage, logs it and fires your webhook.
In practice
How it runs.
- 01
Load your catalogue
Products, pricing, variants and delivery terms go into the knowledge base — paste, upload or import.
- 02
The agent sells the conversation
It answers enquiries, recommends from the range, and captures the order when the buyer is ready.
- 03
The sale is recorded and attributed
The order is logged against the contact and traced to the ad that produced the lead.
Questions we get asked
Is this WhatsApp's native catalogue and cart?
No. Modus does not run WhatsApp Pay or a native cart. It knows your catalogue as trained knowledge, answers questions about it in natural language, and captures the order as a record — which is what makes the sale reportable and attributable.
How does it handle a large product range?
It ranks your catalogue against each question and answers from the relevant items, so a range of hundreds of products does not turn every reply into a list.
What happens when the customer agrees to buy?
The agent captures the item, quantity and amount against the contact and creates the order. Your team confirms fulfilment and payment; the record keeps the contact's value and stage in sync automatically.
Can it take payment?
Payment collection is your existing process — a payment link, UPI, cash on delivery. Modus records the order and its status so revenue and CAC stay accurate; it does not process the money itself.
Stop guessing which enquiries were worth it.
One agent works every lead on your own number and your website — and every deal it closes is traced back to what produced it. We handle the setup.
